Worry
Turn turmoil into tranquility
When you’ve had a stressful day at work, usually a brisk walk or some soothing music suffices to help put your mind at ease. But ongoing anxiety about the future or a pressing concern is not so easily dismissed. In some cases, engrained feelings of worry and fear reflect years of coping techniques and deeply embedded ancestral patterns.
Somers Roche once said, “Anxiety is a thin stream of fear, trickling through the mind. If encouraged, it cuts a channel into which all other thoughts are drained.” That’s why such habits are not conquered overnight. Thankfully, the Spirit of God transforms our minds as we willingly submit to God’s Word.
As Corrie ten Boom so wisely said, “Worry does not empty tomorrow of sorrows; it empties today of strength.” Our hope is that these resources will return strength to your present outlook and offer genuine hope to you as you seek God’s help in transforming your anxious thoughts into confident living.

Fear
When you look down the road of your future, what is it that makes your heart race?
Is it the sudden shock of a job loss? The dreaded news of a difficult diagnosis? Or perhaps the instability of a financial crash? We all have "what-ifs" that keep us awake at night. But I want to remind you that while the future may be unknown to us, it is fully known to our God.
In this video, simply titled "Fear," we confront the giants that loom in our imagination. It is easy to let the "terrible possibilities" of tomorrow rob us of our peace today. However, the Bible gives us a simple yet profound strategy for handling these anxieties: we must replace our projection of doom with a projection of God's faithfulness.
Here are a few encouraging takeaways you will find in this video:
- Identifying the Source: Naming the specific fears—financial, physical, or professional—that threaten your peace.
- The Futility of Worry: Understanding that projecting disaster rarely prepares us for it, but always paralyzes us in the present.
- Simple Words of Comfort: Biblical reminders that God is already present in the future you are so afraid to face.
Don't let the shadows of tomorrow darken your joy today. Let's look together at how we can hand those heavy fears over to the only One strong enough to carry them.
