We often live as though God is only almost sovereign—as if He’s in control of the big things like the stars and the seasons, but perhaps not the painful details of our own lives. My friend, there is no such thing as being almost sovereign. Whether you are facing a wilderness season, a difficult transition, or a silent sky, I want to remind you that He has everything under His control. He isn’t distant; He is intimately involved in your past, your present, and your future. Let’s set aside the heavy baggage of worry and find our rest in His absolute, loving authority.
