Have you ever found yourself so busy chasing a solution to your problems that you actually lost sight of the Lord Himself? It’s a common trap, especially when we are in the middle of a crisis. We become experts at researching, diagnosing, and managing our circumstances, thinking that if we just find the right answer, the pain will stop.
In this video, my friend Steve Fischer shares a turning point in his own journey with his daughter, Payton. For two years, he and his wife Melanie were consumed with ‘chasing the diagnosis’—running from doctor to doctor, desperate for a label and a fix. But then, something shifted. Steve describes the moment their focus changed from the problem to the Person of Jesus Christ. That, my friend, is ‘sticking to the main thing.’ If you are exhausted from the chase, I want to encourage you to stop, take a breath, and recenter your heart on the only One who can truly sustain you through the race.
