Mark 7:24–30; Matthew 15:21–28

When an impossible need stares you down, what does real faith look like? A Gentile mother begged Jesus to free her daughter from demonic oppression. Though His initial response seemed discouraging, she refused to give up.

From Mark 7:24–30, Pastor Chuck Swindoll identifies four qualities in this woman’s faith that moved the heart of Jesus: persistence, humility, focus, and confidence. Her story remains a model for anyone facing an impossible need.

Present your greatest need to God with persistence, humility, focus, and confidence. The kind of faith that moves the heart of Jesus never gives up!
