“Kindness is a universal language,” writes Charissa Swindoll Gaither in this month’s Insights newsletter. She’s right! A friendly smile and a caring gesture speak to hearts in any language. But kindness isn’t alone! Love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are also qualities that communicate loud-and-clear. Paul calls these beautiful virtues the “fruit of the Spirit,” because they have their source in heaven. Learn their language, and you’ll always be understood.
