Overview:

Ephesians 2:17-22

Jesus Christ has reconciled us to God through the perfect and willing sacrifice of His life—what a glorious truth! Yet our acceptance of God’s gift of salvation and our reconciliation with Him merely inaugurates our relationship. Our newfound faith promises to change us in profound ways, not only in our character but also in the way we relate both to God and to His people. Because Christ brought peace, we now have access to God through Him, joining other believers as part of His family on earth.

Message Summary:

In this transformative message from the Becoming a People of Grace series, Pastor Chuck Swindoll explores the profound shift in identity that occurs when a person trusts in Christ. Drawing from Ephesians 2:17–22, he examines how the Gospel moves us from being “strangers and aliens” to becoming “fellow citizens with the saints” and members of the very household of God.

This overview focuses on the spiritual architecture of the Church. Pastor Chuck explains that we are not just a collection of individuals, but a building being carefully fitted together into a holy temple. By understanding our shared foundation and our access to the Father through the Spirit, believers can find a deep sense of belonging and purpose within the family of God.
