John F. Walvoord, Author at Insight for Living

As a leading spokesman for biblical prophecy, Dr. John F. Walvoord (1910–2002) held bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College and a master’s degree in Philosophy from Texas Christian University. Recognized throughout the world as an outstanding educator, author, and Bible conference speaker, Dr. Walvoord served as the second president of Dallas Theological Seminary from 1953 to 1986, as chancellor from 1986 to 2001, and then as chancellor emeritus until he entered the presence of the Lord in 2002.
