Position Summary

The Mandarin website content coordinator helps Insight for Living Ministries (IFLM) pursue the Great Commission with excellence by furthering the ministry’s outreach to people who speak Mandarin around the world. Working under the direction of the executive vice president of International Ministries, the content coordinator ensures that all content posted to IFLM’s Mandarin website is accurately translated, theologically verified, and meets IFLM’s standards of quality and biblical accuracy. With a passion for reaching Mandarin-speakers worldwide, this individual also participates in various other ministry processes within the International Ministries Department.

Core Job Functions

Web Content Coordination

  • Oversees the content of IFLM’s Mandarin website
  • Ensures all translated articles, daily devotionals, sermons, books, and other content posted to the website fit the goals of the site, including each webpage’s scheme and visual display
  • Ensures content cohesion throughout website
  • Creates, develops, and manages IFLM’s Mandarin social media presence


  • Translates various materials to be utilized by IFLM’s Mandarin ministry, including daily devotionals, sermons, books, and other Web site content

Theological Editing

  • Verifies theological accuracy of all content translated into Mandarin to ensure alignment with IFLM’s Statement of Faith as well as theological consistency with each piece’s original, intended meaning

Mandarin Strategy Development

  • Assists the executive vice president of International Ministries and other stakeholders in the development and implementation of IFLM’s strategy to enlarge and deepen the Mandarin ministry

Special Projects

  • Completes all assigned tasks, duties, and responsibilities related to the successful outcome of various International Ministries projects

Professional Development

  • Commits to the challenges of growth and development according to the professional development plan
  • Pursues the designated knowledge and/or experience with a positive attitude
  • Completes assigned tasks with excellence and in a timely manner

  • Models IFLM’s core values through daily conduct

Position Specifications

Job Qualifications

  • Regular attendance at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas
  • Master’s or doctoral degree from Dallas Theological Seminary or current enrollment at Dallas Theological Seminary
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English with a cultural familiarity for Mandarin-speakers
  • Excellent translation, editing, proofreading, revising, and writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Humility, a high level of flexibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Outlook

This is a part-time position—up to 20 hours per week.
